WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Representatives Don Bacon (NE-02) and Donald Norcross (NJ-01), co-chairs of the Problem Solvers Caucus National Security Working Group, announced the working group’s endorsement of 10 amendments to the 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). These endorsed amendments, led by working group members, will strengthen our national defense, enhance support for military personnel and veterans, and address emerging security threats.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Sunday, President Joe Biden signed the Problem Solvers Caucus-endorsed Social Security Fairness Act into law, expanding Social Security benefits for millions of retired public servants. The legislation repeals the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and the Government Pension Offset (GPO) from the Social Security Act.

This legislation will streamline Department of the Interior (DOI) public land transactions by expanding access to qualified, cost-competitive appraisers.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the bipartisan Think DIFFERENTLY Database Act (H.R.670), legislation that would require the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to establish an online database of resources for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The bill received broad bipartisan support, passing under suspension of the rules.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus announced its endorsement of the Rural Veterans Transportation to Care Act, legislation that will make it easier for rural veterans to get transportation to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health facilities. The Rural Veterans Transportation to Care Act would expand eligibility for the HRTG Program to include veterans living in any county designated as "rural" or "highly rural" by the VA, ensuring more veterans can access the transportation services they need.
