Problem Solvers Caucus Launches “The Pod Couple”
Bipartisan podcast is the first of its kind in Congress
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last week, Problem Solvers Caucus Co-Chairs Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01) and Tom Suozzi (NY-03) launched The Pod Couple, a first-of-its-kind bipartisan podcast. The show offers Americans an inside look at how the Problem Solvers Caucus — the only bipartisan ideological caucus in Congress — works to build consensus across party lines and break the gridlock in Congress.
In the first episode, the Co-Chairs introduce the podcast and explain how they approach some of Washington’s toughest issues — including their latest bipartisan effort to end the DHS shutdown. The conversation offers an honest, behind-the-scenes look at how the idea came together, what they hope to achieve, and why working across the aisle is essential to tackling challenges like this.
Future episodes will feature Members of Congress, leaders in business and nonprofits, and constituents, discussing the issues that matter most to them. Tune in on Youtube, Spotify, and Apple Podcaststo follow along.
