Problem Solvers Caucus Executive Council Endorses Bipartisan Keep America Open Act
Provides a Solution for Avoiding a Government Shutdown
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Executive Council of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus announced its endorsement of H.R.5672 Bipartisan Keep America Open Act.
The Executive Council released the following statement:
“The Bipartisan Keep America Open Act is a bipartisan, common-sense solution that provides a concrete option for avoiding a government shutdown. This legislation expands the Problem Solvers Caucus Appropriations Framework that was endorsed by the full Caucus last week. We encourage House and Senate Leadership, as well as Representatives on both sides of the aisle, to review this bill and consider it as a compromise that prioritizes federal employees and our citizens over partisan politics.”

The Problem Solvers Caucus, which is Co-Chaired by Congressmen Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01) and Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05), has sixty-four Members evenly split between Republicans and Democrats.
